The Howdy Hotel has been in operation since 1905 and has been owned by the same family for four generations. All of their rooms are clean, comfortable and updated with TVs, air conditioning, refrigerators and microwaves in most rooms. And just like the “good old days,” there’s a barber shop in the lobby. Their excellent restaurant serves breakfast 24 hours a day, and provides family dining with some of the finest home-style cooking, pies and cookies found anywhere. They have daily specials and are known widely for their hand-breaded chicken fried steak. For adult entertainment, they have a casino area with keno and poker machines.
