The Chamber office sits across the street from the recently restored Davidson Building, now a tea room, gift shop and beauty salon.

A former industrial center with a rich history and heritage, Anaconda is more recently renowned as a recreation community in Southwest Montana. The Continental Divide passes within a few miles of the city limits and Rocky Mountain peaks reach 10,379 feet. Anaconda offers an extraordinary summer or winter vacation opportunity as well as a great place to live and work.

Information on Anaconda's Historical Downtown, local attractions, and recreational opportunities, is available at the Anaconda Visitor Center. The Visitor Center has travel advisors available to answer questions, give directions and disseminate travel publications throughout the week. (In summer we are open Monday through Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm, and in winter we are open to the public 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday).

During the summer, the Visitor Center operates a 90-minute antique bus tour of the city with two tours a day that leave the Visitor Center at 10 am and 2 pm. For travelers not interested in the 90-minute tour, a 16-minute video of local attractions is also available to view at the center. The Visitor Center is a good stop to pick up local memorabilia and specialty items unique to Anaconda.
