Located in White Sulphur Springs, Montana.

Located halfway between Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks at the junction of US Hwy 12 and the Kings Hill Scenic Byway (US Hwy 89), is Meagher County. Meagher County includes the towns of White Sulphur Springs, Martinsdale, Ringling, Checkerboard, and Lennep. It is the land of the Shining Mountains. If you have been there for a while, then you already know of the great variety and beauty of the area. If you are a new arrival, you’ll soon be agreeing with the locals that there is no place quite like the Smith River Valley of central Montana. Recreational opportunities include skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, golfing, camping, and mountain biking. They have natural hot springs in town that are open to the public year round. The Big Belt, Little Belt and Castle Mountains surround this area providing thousands of acres of public access and seven campgrounds nearby, in the Lewis and Clark National Forest. Visit one of the many museums, ghost towns, old gold and silver mines, railroads and Victorian era historical sites. Visit the Meagher County Chamber of Commerce website for more information on the area.
