Seeley Lake, a community of about 2,000, is located 45 miles northeast of Missoula and serves as a popular recreational area. The town has an information center called Seeley Lake Ranger Station and three forest service campgrounds on Seeley Lake. Seeley Lake, built near several lakes, has over 300 miles of well-developed and maintained snowmobile trails. These trails cover the beautiful Clearwater Valley and lead to scenic lookouts, back-country lakes and cozy lodges.
