The Brand Bar Museum is part of the Lewis and Clark Trail on Highway 200. It houses a collection of stories of our settlers, local memorabilia, homestead maps, and information of Ovando's past.
In 1987 it was a saloon situated in the heart of Ovando owned by Henery Dixon and Charlie Young. They called it the 'Bucket of Blood". Then the Barbie's owned it and renamed it the 'Double Diamond'. In 1930 Bud Beard claimed it and named it the Brand bar Saloon. This location is now the museum. In the 1950s it was relocated to Highway 200 and named Trixi's. They have a Hoosegow, jail for visitors where you can sleep on a bunk in the jail, or enjoy camping on the lawn.
