At 6,700ft elevation, this single loop campground is on the picturesque 330-acre Hyalite Reservoir. Hiking, biking, ATV, fishing, boating, and picnicking are popular. There are 10 sites, each with a table and fire ring. Vault toilets and 1 water spigot available. This is bear country so safe food storage recommended. Open seasonal May 21 through September 27. $15/day fee with a maximum stay of 16 days.
DIRECTIONS: In Bozeman, MT, at the intersection of US Hwy 191 and 19th Ave., take 19th Ave (State Rt. 345) off Main St., south 7.1 miles to Hyalite Canyon sign (Forest Rt. 62). Turn left onto Rt. 62 and go 11 miles to campground sign. Turn right into campground.
